Twice the cone, half the strain
A sealed dual-woofer subwoofer doubles the active cone area and splits the mechanical workload across two drivers. The result: higher output capacity, less individual cone movement, lower distortion and the fast, tight transient response sealed designs are known for.
Amplification and control that matches the ambition
Power comes from a Hypex Ncore NPA500-8 plate amplifier - 500W driving both 12" woofers directly, with headroom to stay controlled at full output rather than straining for it.
Integration is where it earns its place. An adjustable LR4 low-pass crossover (60–120Hz) sets exactly where the sub hands over to The Gordon, and continuous phase adjustment lets it be time-aligned precisely to the rest of the system - not just loud in the room, but locked in step with it. Three user-storable DSP presets mean the sub can be tuned for different rooms or listening positions and recalled instantly.

Like The Gordon, the Dual 12" Sub's cabinet is hand-built in Hobart from Tasmanian hardwood, finished to sit alongside your Gordon pair rather than hide in a corner.
