Most subwoofers are an afterthought a box that adds weight but loses the timing and control of everything above it. The Franklin SUB18 is built to disappear into the system it's paired with: fast, tight, and precisely aligned to the rest of your Franklin setup, not just loud.
Amplification and control that matches the ambition
Power comes from a Hypex Ncore NPA1200-8 plate amplifier, 1,200W driving the 18" woofer directly, with the headroom to stay controlled at full output rather than straining for it.
Integration is where it earns its place. An adjustable LR4 low-pass crossover (60–120Hz) sets exactly where the sub hands over to your mains, and continuous phase adjustment lets it be time-aligned precisely to the rest of the system, not just loud in the room, but locked in step with it. Three user-storable DSP presets mean the sub can be tuned for different rooms or listening positions and recalled instantly, the same room-by-room approach we use across the active Franklin range.

Like the rest of the Franklin line, the SUB18's cabinet is hand-built in Hobart from Tasmanian hardwood, finished to sit alongside your Franklin speakers rather than hide in a corner.
