The Gordon
A two-way bookshelf speaker, handbuilt in Hobart.
You'll notice it before you can explain it
The Gordon disappears. What's left is a wide, layered stage, instruments and voices holding their own place in the room.
Built by hand, from timber that grew here
The result holds up as furniture on its own. It just happens to sound as good as it looks.
Two builds, one philosophy
The Gordon Jantzen
AUD $4,500 per pair
A precisely matched all-Jantzen signal path, built exactly to spec.
The Gordon Mundorf
AUD $5,200 per pair
A fully Mundorf signal path. MCap EVO Oil capacitors, copper foil coil in the woofer's series position, WBT binding posts, silver-gold-tin solder. Same voicing, finest available parts.
Neither is a lesser version of the other, just two expressions of the same speaker, the way timber choice is on the outside.
